Its not an offense I find kick worthy, however I will completely drop the lobby and start anew. And if a player is indeed abusing that in my lobby such as telling players exactly how many cops are on the map I will kill the lobby. Having an exact number of swat on the map can be abused significantly if you understand fade mechanics. I do find portions of mods like HoxHud "cheaty" like the assault wave police counter. Its perfectly acceptable to host your own games, apply your own rules, and kick those who have a problem with that. I think its incredibly inconsiderate to join another player's lobby and alter base game mechanics and stats, even if you think it is fixing problems with the game. Any other mods though like the old DMCWO and Melee Overhaul though I won't accept in my lobbies (not that they are easy to detect however). In my lobbies I don't mind HUD mods but will kindly ask you to turn off that Pocohud spamming. Overkill considers DLC Unlockers, SAM, infinite deployables, and bag spawning as a cheat in game and has enforced bans on the Steam forums for those actions.
Rule 1 is Host is God, that applies to mods as well and whatever a player is using in his lobbies is on him.
